12 days and counting

Not much going on here. I'm dilated to 3cm now and Dr thinks it'll be later this week or this weekend sometime. After today I sure hope so. Matt has a 4 day weekend planned for himself but I'm thinking that it'll get screwed up with Mia on the way. Hopefully he gets time to go fishing though. Not much else to report, my next appointment is 9-5 unless Mia arrives before then. Love to all

16 days and counting

Well everything went fine at my appointment.I only gained 1/2 of a pound and now I have protein in my urine. Dr says nothing to worry about since there is nothing else wrong. I am now dilated to 2cm and head is down. So we are just waiting for Amelia to decide to enter the world. Mom and I think it will be sometime this week. Wednesday I cleaned the car and put in the car seat, Thursday I didn't do much of anything, I was having back pain and cramping so we"ll see what happens this week. My next appointment is scheduled for Wednesday at 3pm. I'm hoping that I won't make it til then but if so, this kid is stubborn.

3 weeks and counting

Well only 3weeks left and everything is still going fine. I wish it was over. My next appointment is 8-24-07 and hopefully we have some progress by then. I'm getting tired of cleaning and laying around the house. Sometimes I do go to work with Mom, but it's not the same. I miss my job and some of the people that I work with. I know that after Amelia is here I won't want to go back to work but I didn't think that I would be off this early. New picture coming up. bedroom

Well the bedroom is finished. Finally got most of the clothes put away and the bed is made. Everything is still going fine, no changes and I see the Dr again on Friday. Hopefully Amelia will decide to come into this world soon. I'm so miserable here at home without anything to do. I read, clean, do crosswords and not much else. Hope everyone is doing well and I'll update again soon.

baby shower

Today was the baby shower for Mia and all went well. We got 5 packs of diapers, 4 things of baby wipes and lots of beautiful clothes and toys. We also got the baby monitor that we wanted. All in all it was a very fun day. Matt and Jake hung out doing boys stuff and going to the "man" store, Jake didn't like the 'yuppie' store they went to.

emergency

Friday was not a good for me. I had to schedule an emergency appointment with my dr after lunch. I was working when all of a sudden I started having severe pain, after seeing the dr she concluded that I was having pre-term contractions and it was decided that I needed to be off of work. I don't know what I am going to do at home while off but I guess I will find something.
